The File Exchange is a new forum added to the Geosptial Discussion. The main goal of the File Exchange is to allow users to share and exchange geospatial files. We have already had a member post a map, which is exactly what the File Exchange forum is for. Members can also share GIS data. We have added GIS file extensions so GIS data can be uploaded. There are many file extensions for Geospatial Data, and we may have missed a few. If you are having trouble uploading a geospatial data file, the problem is most likely the extension type. Send an email to admin@geospatialdiscussion.com, and the file extension will be added. The idea behind the Featured Link is a site that makes a contribution to the geospatial realm, which means it has great content and it is very informative. If you would like to write the Featured Link article for the site, we are okay with this too. Just write an article about the site with some things you like and submit it to admin@geospatialdiscussion.com.
